I have really been enjoying looking at everyone's artwork from the facebook 5 day art challenge. It's brilliant. So I'm chiming in late responding to Kira Nam Greene's challenge, and would love to see if Kristin Sorra and Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez would accept the challenge of posting 3 artworks for 5 days and nominating 2 people each day.

Day 2 of 5 DAY FACEBOOK ART CHALLENGE.
I haven't looked at these old paintings in soo long. They went out into the world, and stayed out there somewhere. I have to admit I am enjoying this art challenge much more than I thought I would.

This is the first time I ever painted with gouache. It was in Skowhegan Art Residency when Joanne Greenbaum asked if I ever used gouache before. I hadn't, and she gave me 3 tubes of gouache to experiment with. Very grateful to her, as it has become my medium of choice for many years.

Day 3 Facebook 5 day art challege:
During this prolific art making period in my life, the images floating through my head became more vivid and strange. I always had a pad of paper to doodle them so I would not forget.
